It started out a little difficult to get little Woody asleep, but once he got out under the sun, he smiled, relaxed, and fell into a deep sleep that lasted all the way until he had to get put into his car seat to go home! What a fun little boy with amazing parents. Congratulations, Erin and Nathan!
I absolutely love taking photos of newborns, but especially for my friends and birth students!! Look at this handsome new boy blessed by having the best parents I know. Congratulations Erin and Nathan, and stay tuned to see more of him featured on the blog!
Christa is a good friend of mine; you may recognise her from some portraits I took of her when I started photography. Well, I had the honour of being in her wedding party! That makes it hard as a photographer, because you want to be sure that she has the most amazing photos of her wedding, but you also want to be IN the wedding and help her with all of the other details. So I found a way to take photos of her getting ready, the first look, and some shots of the reception; but nothing of the actual ceremony.

I had such a blast with these mums at Royal Victoria Country Park in February capturing their breastfeeding journeys. They were such amazing women to talk with and get to know. They were incredibly stunning breastfeeding mothers modelling for the Milky Way Project UK breastfeeding project! These are some of my favourite images from this photography session:
Sleepy town. Beautiful old church. Cozy cafe. Breastfeeding.
Olivia is an amazing mum–she owns two restaurant/pubs, and one of them is also a B&B! She’s also a breastfeeding mother. She was kind enough to let us use her beautifully decorated restaurant, The Globe, for Isle of Wight mums to get photos taken for the Milky Way Project UK! Check out how they turned out 🙂
I have teamed up with The Milky Way Project UK sharing that special bond between baby and mum on their breastfeeding journey. I am going to be offering breastfeeding sessions to capture a special moment for you to cherish.
These sessions will be free sessions as long as you are happy for your images to be used as part of the project to normalise breastfeeding. Your photographs may be purchased for print or download.
No age limits on the baby/child.
These will be taking place on various dates in February please comment below if you are interested or drop me a message. Also feel free to tag any of the breastfeeding mums you know.
I am based in Hamble, but will travel to Southampton for this project if I can get several mums on the same day!
I had the honour of capturing six-day-old Jude. He was very happily snuggled in the warmth of mum, dad and big sister. I am so glad I get to share my passion for babies with you through photography!
